Creative Mixer Club
Club Description: Six Pixels' Creative Mixer course blends moviemaking with a creative mixer of other camera techniques, including documentary interviewing, YouTube studio production, stop motion animation, photography, special effects, and editing, so students can try their hands at a variety of visual arts experiences. Moviemaking will focus on storytelling, directing, operating camera, lighting, sound, and working together as a team, as students learn how to make their own short films. Stop Motion teaches students how to create characters and stories, through studious and carefully controlled movements that develop camera and editing skills. YouTube production focuses on internet safety, how to build a channel, become an influencer, and create a brand. Photography projects allow students to dive deeper into storytelling through a camera lens, exploring composition, direction, staging, lighting and learning skills that they’ll use way beyond the classroom.
